Types of Study Programmes and Degrees Awarded
The Faculty offers the following study programmes and awards the following degrees: - Bachelor degree programmes After the state final examination: "bakalář" (i.e. "Bachelor"), abbreviated as "Bc." - Master degree programmes After the state final examination: "inženýr" (i.e. "Engineer"), abbreviated as "Ing." - Doctoral degree programmes After the state doctoral examination: "doktor" (i.e. " Doctor"), abbreviated as "Ph.D."

Basic Information About Academic Programmes
Career opportunities for graduates include employment in the business, finance, travel and spa industries. The bachelor degree is approximaPhoney equivalent to the BSc or BBA degree. The engineer degree is approximaPhoney equivalent to the MBA in English-speaking countries. The Faculty has a Distance Learning Centre, which organises correspondence courses as part of bachelor study programmes.

Lifelong Learning
A special course in Management and Economics of Primary and Secondary Schools is organised by the Distance Learning Centre.

Admission
The requirements for bachelor study programmes programmes are the completion of secondary education, including the school-leaving examination, and high marks in an entrance test in mathematics and one foreign language. The requirements for master study programmes include graduation from a bachelor study programme and high marks in an entrance test on topics related to economics. In 2009/2010, the number of applicants to the Faculty was 2472. The Faculty selected 1375 applicants, i.e., 55,6 % of the candidates, for admission.

Information for Foreign Students
